The Gulls
The Gulls are a modern rock ’n’ roll four-piece who first cut their teeth busking on the streets during the pandemic, creating opportunities for themselves by throwing large outdoor shows and living life on the road. Since then, the band have evolved into a tight, powerful live outfit. Blending driving guitar riffs, soulful yet witty lyricism, and relentless energy, they have built a reputation for turning even the most rigid crowds into a sweaty mess.
Made up of members from across the UK and France’s constal towns, The Gulls have spent the past few years establishing themselves as a formidable live act. The band have completed full UK tours as main support for The Big Push, The Buena Vista Orchestra, Cam Cole and Kula Shaker. Along the way, they have also appeared at some of the UK's most respected festivals, including Boomtown, Victorious, Green Man, Kendal Calling and Beautiful Days, and they’ve also played a number of street festivals in Europe including Artisti in Piazza in Italy and Strassenmusiktage in Germany..
Their track "Freedom" has amassed more than 1.5 million Spotify streams, while a rapidly growing online following reflects the band's increasing reach. Combining raw rock ’n’ roll spirit with an ever-evolving sound, The Gulls are quickly establishing themselves as one of the UK's most exciting live acts.
Following the transition from a trio to a four-piece, the band are preparing to enter the studio to record their first release with this new line-up. With a UK headline tour in the pipeline The Gulls continue to build momentum both on and off the stage.
