"A mix of a hefty dose of The Strokes & Pulp; Franz Ferdinand with their own unique spin on it. I love it“ Christian Carlisle BBC Introducing
The Kecks have rapidly established a reputation as an enigmatic must-see live act after only completing their lineup in late 2018 after a chance encounter on board a Berlin bound Flixbus to see The Growlers.
After throwing raucous bunker parties in their rehearsal room and several other guerilla gigs, a buzz is beginning to bubble. Culminating in two consecutive sold out shows at Hamburg’s renowned Astra Stube and European dates are already in the calendar for 2019 along with a full German tour supporting rock & roll legend Peter Perrett of The Only Ones.
Drawing from a wide range of influences, not least the Australian, French, Austrian and British descent of its members - The Kecks offer a fresh and exciting take on guitar music. Delivering both sophisticated yet spikey tunes that are expansive in ambition but authentic and raw by nature.
